Are you someone who is passionate about food and enjoys cooking vibrant, seasonal and nutritious dishes? Would you like to be part of the team at Bath City Farm and work in its unique and scenic setting?

If you can prepare visually appealing dishes from scratch, using fresh, seasonal ingredients from the Farm, and you are excited by the idea of contributing to the development of the food culture at the Farm connecting the Café with the farm produce and our horticultural growing projects, then this could be the role for you.

**The Farm Café**

Set within the communities of Twerton and Whiteway, the building is full of natural light with outside terraced areas that look across the valley into the Georgian centre of Bath on one side. Adjacent is a children’s play area. In front of the café is an edible garden providing a visual connection between farm grown produce and the dishes served in the café.

The cafe is open Tuesdays to Sundays and we serve breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake throughout the day.

The Café Cook is responsible for delivering the breakfast and lunch service at the café. They also support participants of the Farm’s Roots to Work programme (who are also supported by our Jobs Coach) to assist with the preparation of dishes, front of house and washing up.

Hours: 21.5 hours a week 9am to 4.30pm Thurs & Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday

**Salary**: Full Time Equivalent £22,482 - £25,320 dependent on experience (actual salary for 21.5 hours £12,890 - £14,517)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
