**Shop Keeper**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
- Ensuring the stock is efficiently managed, with good organization skills and understanding of how to make sure stock never runs out
- Store is attractively displayed and pricing is correct on a daily basis.
- Ensuring stock loss, man-hours and costs are controlled efficiently.
- Support the Manager with recruitment, training, development and performance of all staff.
- Coaching, motivating and developing the store sales team to achieve personal and store objectives.
- Ensure key information is shared to ensure best practice and achievement of company objectives.
- Maintaining the security of the shop premises, stock and all shop monies
- Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork to the Director.
- Train new employees
- Manage a team of staff members
- Handle customer complaints

**Salary: £28,000 (Per Annum)**

**Skill/experience/qualifications**:
 Must be organized and punctual.

 Well-presented and professional.

 Prior experience in retail, preferably in a management position, would be advantageous.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barnsley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
