**THE POST**:We seek an administrator to support the finance team, specifically working within our close knit credit control team. You will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and telephone manner, good attention to detail, and enjoy working in a friendly team environment whilst being highly motivated to complete all work within the department time scales.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings
- Setting up of terms and conditions of credit against Customer Accounts on accounts package
- Ensuring timely payment of debts
- Processing inbound payments onto customer accounts
- Assisting in the administration of statement runs
- Following up payments as needed - chasing overdue invoices and recording all correspondence
- Responding to relevant client enquiries/queries
- Reconciliation as applicable of customer accounts
- Ensuring provision of copy documentation to clients upon request

**KEY RESULT AREAS**:Key result areas relate to the effective implementation of credit control measures, whilst maintaining optimal customer service and relations.

Specific targets will be discussed with you and agreed at your bi-annual appraisals and will subsequently be reviewed to determine performance.

**SPECIAL RELATIONSHIPS**:You report directly to the Credit Control Supervisor and Accounts Manager, ultimately you are accountable to the Financial Director.

**EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS**:Experience of administration and a good telephone manner is essential. Credit control experience is not required as full training will be provided. Minimum of Grade C or equivalent in GCSE math and English required.

**START DATE**: ASAP

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,425.00 per year
