We’re delighted to be working with an independent fleet solutions company based in Thames Ditton, Surrey who are on the hunt for the right person to join their Technical Services Team to work as an Accident Management Engineer, ensuring vehicle claims, damages and repairs are handled in the best way possible for their customer.

You may already be a Vehicle Damage Assessor or a Bodyshop Technician, ready for a new challenge and a great, new environment.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Taking ownership for managing claims accurately and in accordance with quality procedures and insurance industry standards.
- Auditing estimates submitted through the system with a focus on repair method, cost control, vehicle downtime and client specific procedures.
- Instructing repairers to arrange estimates and repairs
- Checking estimates are sound and justified
- Managing any claims coming through, keeping customers, colleagues and suppliers updated regarding vehicle repairs
- Recording all accident details with pace and accuracy onto their system
- Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance
- Handling and solving queries regarding vehicle accidents and repairs
- Raising and checking accident repair invoices for payment and recharge
- Generally being on top of your game with any ongoing claims
- Being an ambassador for first class customer service
- Representing the department internally and providing support to colleagues in other departments in relation to the claims process

**What we look for**:

- Experience in bodyshop estimating or accident management within the automotive industry is absolutely essential
- Great attention to detail and strong admin skills
- A drive to deal with and resolve a variety of queries, supporting customers, suppliers, and colleagues every day
- A true champion of great customer service; a clear communicator, who is happy to work with people at all levels in an organisation.
- People who enjoy variety in their day, working in an interactive role. There are no two days the same so being organised is a must
- If you have worked in a B2B or B2C customer service environment, then you’re off to a flying start.
- A desire to work with a small yet mighty business who are focussed on continuous improvement and customer experience
- Commutable distance (ideally no more than 30 minutes) to Thames Ditton as this is a full-time office-based role, and you’ll also need a full driving licence.
