You will be visiting elderly people in the comfort of their own homes in the Morecambe/ Carnforth/ Hesty Bank community, supporting a range of people all with different homes and personalities with varying needs over the age of 65. You will support service users in many different ways to prevent unnecessary hospital and care home admissions. Some visits will be lone working, some visits will be colleague accompanied. Tasks are variable; including medication administration, medication ordering and management, emotional support, keeping environments safe, assessing needs, personal care, washing/bathing, preparing or supporting to eat meals, liaising with GP's/ pharmacies/ nurses/families and other professionals, providing dementia care, Parkinson's care, end of life care and most importantly bringing a smile and making a huge difference to people lives to clients that are grateful just to see you.

**Requirements**:

- An enhanced DBS check (funded by us unless leave within 6 months)

**Wages**
- **£12.50 per hour** for visit time (Due to increase to £13.05 April 1st)
- £10.42 for travel time (plus 25p per mile driven on top) (Due to increase to £11.44 April 1st)
- £10.42 training time (at home & on-premises) & shadowing (Due to increase to £11.44 April 1st)
- **£18.75 per hou**r bank holidays (specific)
- **£20 per hour** on Christmas day

**Hours**

All of our permanent contracts have contracted shifts, so you can have a work/life balance. Know when you're at work, and when you're not. The shift pattern will be discussed at interview. **The hours contracted are 30 to 42 every 2 weeks. (Expected 18hr average)**

**Travel**

All of our service users are based in Morecambe/ Hest Bank/ Carnforth. All home visits are scheduled as close to each other as possible, 2 miles is our average distance between jobs. We have an app that calculates your mileage between jobs accurately. You haven't got to worry about clock watching or mileage submission.
