**Accounts Preparation**
- Small limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships, pension schemes
- Prepare and monitor budgets
- Liaise with clients for information gathering purposes
- Liaise with clients to settle queries
- Complete paper or electronic disclosure checklists
- Review with Managers/Directors and complete file including reporting pack

**Bookkeeping**
- Write up cash books, sales day books, purchase day books
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare accounts from incomplete records or client trial balances
- Liaise with clients for information gathering purposes
- Settle queries with managers/Directors
- Review with Managers/Directors and complete file including reporting pack

**Tax**
- Prepare personal tax returns
- Prepare VAT returns
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
- Prepare P11ds

**General**
- Occasional advisory work - business plans, profit and cash flow forecasts
- Deal with correspondence from clients
- Review work of juniors, resolve technical queries and ensure the file is complete and all review points addressed before passed to the manager
- Attendance at in house and external professional training courses
- Be a team player and help to train junior members whenever possible

Requirement
- The successfully appointed individual will be a qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA/AAT) or qualified by experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dependable and reliable team player
- Professional, discreet and motivated, able to work with mínimal oversight
- Managing Processes and good organisation skills to minimise time spent on administration
- Strong computer skills
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure
- Organisation skills - ability to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously
- Client focused and commercially aware
- Supervise the work of junior team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
