**NEW FOR 2023 OUR MANUFACTURING CONCRETE BLOCK PLANT BASED IN NEW MILTON IN ONE OF OUR BUSY SITES.**

**THIS ROLE IS AN IDEAL POSITION FOR SOMEONE WHO ENJOYS MANAGING AND WORKING IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT, WHO WILL MANAGE THE BLOCK PLANT PRODUCTION, OVERSEEING THE TEAM.**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Production Director, the main responsibilities and duties include:

- Managing the team, working to targets and ensuring a safe and compliant operation.
- Manage the operation of automated block machine and all other aspects of the block production process.
- Quality control checks including block height, weight, appearance and moisture control.
- Daily machine checks.
- Assist with plant maintenance/cleaning duties.
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Compliance with health & safety policies, risk assessments & procedures at all times.
- Carry out additional duties within your skill and competence.
- People Management and development of the team.
- Liaison between Head Office, Sales and customers as required
- Ensure the operation is run according to set budgets.
- Conduct inspections and audits.
- Ensure quality management.
- Conduction H&S tool box talks.

To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Standard hours of work will be 47.5 hours per week, 07:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday and if required paid at overtime rate, Saturday 07.00 to 12.00.
