**Purpose of the Role**

To manage and deliver Change, Engagement & Communications activities in preparation for the implementation of Coupa Purchasing system. Supporting the Change & Comms Lead in managing channels and engaging impacted audiences to ensure business readiness, uptake of training and steady flow of project updates through to go-live(s) and beyond.

This role will work in a Project Team tasked with delivering a complex and necessarily fast-paced Purchasing system to a newly acquired business entity.

The role requires extensive experience of managing and delivering change and engagement activity as part of a Purchasing system implementation. It is essential that the Change & Communications Specialist can translate project messaging into easy to understand content to support all levels of staff impacted by the change to system, process and ways of working.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Key member of the Change & Comms Workstream on the Alexion Finance Integration Programme, specifically the Coupa Consolidation Project.
- Responsible for managing and delivering communications and engagement activities needed to build high levels of awareness and support, as well as bring about desired actions and behaviours.
- Fully understand and document all impacted stakeholder groups and target audiences.
- Maintain and execute the Change & Communications Plan.
- Identify appropriate messaging for individual communications and the optimum distribution channels needed to achieve reach and impact.
- Accountable for the quality, consistency and accuracy of all communication materials.
- Be aware of and address appropriate cultural, branding, and strategic ambition considerations.
- Work closely with the Alexion Internal Communications Team to fully utilise existing effective communications channels.
- Collaborate with Programme, Project and Business stakeholders to propose and consult on appropriate timing of communications to ensure effectiveness and accommodate conflicting communication priorities.
- Plan ahead and adjust when required, improving communications to incorporate feedback, new information, and competing priorities.
- Capture and feed communication and engagement metrics into change tracking and measurement activities.
- Schedule, plan and support regular project updates to Programme and Project teams as part of regular meeting cadence, as well regular communications to the Change Network. Advise and assist the Change Network in embedding communications and engagement locally in their areas.
- Provide clear, joined up and consistent messaging that clearly articulates the long term aims of the Programme and Project deliverables.
- Collaborate across all Programme and Project Workstreams to ensure that key messages, decisions and progress are well understood and communicated effectively.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience of managing and delivering Communications and Engagement as part of a Purchasing system implementation for a global audience.
- Able to build a wide variety of proven communications and engagement materials/activities and successfully deliver these to build awareness, support and facilitate the realisation of desired behaviours amongst all impacted stakeholders.
- A team player with a good understanding of the unique dynamics and challenges of system implementations.
- Proven stakeholder management and collaborative skills within a Project Team environment and a clear focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for the impacted organisation.
- An excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate key messages in mediums that all audiences can access and understand, as well as listen and respond to key concerns/feedback.
- Able to plan, manage and deliver a Change & Comms Plan with the flexibility and vision to proactively adjust this according to project and business changes and feedback.
- A proven record of producing high quality communications material in a variety of mediums to build awareness as well as delivering engagement activities to drive up and maintain support and readiness.
