Morgan King is delighted to be partnered with highly specialised manufacturer, in Sheffield,, supplying a varied profile of products into a highly lucrative industry. Who are looking to appoint a **Quality Inspector.**

They are looking to expand their team through the hiring of a **self-starting **and **driven** Quality professional, to inspect their products throughout the manufacturing line, to align with company policy and to maximise customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspection of incoming, in process and final inspection parts, ensuring company and customer specifications
- Items that are rejected to meet adherence to company procedures are met and the ruling out of any anomalies
- Calibration of all equipment and gauges
- Interpretation of drawings
- Work alongside the Inspection team members to ensure that daily targets are met
- Ensure the customers requirement are fulfilled to the highest possible standard
- Measuring, cross comparing and analysis of product
- Reports of testing, including paperwork and certifications of the product
- Maximising customer satisfaction
- The use of a variety of precision inspection measuring tools, such as height gauges, micrometers, and verniers
- Cooperate with the organisation, undertaking any other given role within their capabilities
- Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise
- Assist in cultivating a culture of quality consciousness alongside the management team by setting a leading example.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed

**Qualifications / Skills**:

- Strong quality experience, within a manufacturing background. (Metals manufacturing background is desired)
- Visual testing experience
- Experience with Quality control standards
- Be able to work accurately in a busy environment and have great attention to detail, with ability to process large volumes of information
- Ability to organise and prioritise effectively
- Confident, self-starting individual
