**Job Location**:Blandford, Dorset

**Job Type**:Permanent

**Salary**:£26,605 per annum

**Hours**:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

We are currently working with a leading Manufacturing company who are seeking a Transport Co-ordinator to join their friendly and hardworking team at their site based in Blandford.

Within this role you will be responsible for;
- Resolving any questions or queries that may be raised whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for all Company vehicle licence checks and to administer and maintain all records accordingly.
- Ensuring products are delivered correctly, in accordance with schedules and booking in where necessary.
- Maintaining a database to ensure that all company vehicles adhere to the inspection/ maintenance schedules
- Responsible that all Company vehicles are legally compliant at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining, updating the use of all departmental databases, portals and systems, ensuring that vehicle databases are tracked, maintained and accessible at all times.
- Responsible for tracking all company vehicle movements, company pool cars and securing all vehicles keys when not in use.
- Assist and report any Company Driver issues such as accidents, defects and safety concerns and ensure all relevant documents are completed and recorded to comply and maintain to road worthiness standards.
- Assist with drivers wherever possible such as breakdown recovery, confirming orders, road closures, identify potential problems and provide solutions to minimise delivery delays and improve efficiency at all times.
- Evaluate and improve transportation processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Management of all general transport and office administration.
- Previous experience in Transport / Logistics / Dispatch / Shipping industry
- Excellent administration skills
- The ability to maintain accurate records
