**Outline of Duties**
- Assemble and fabricate metal components based on provided blueprints and specifications
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and welding metal
- Perform sheet metal fabrication and welding tasks to create finished products
- Conduct stick welding and other types of welding to join metal pieces together
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of fabricated components through careful inspection and measurement
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding is required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, including stick welding
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- Math skills for measurements and calculations
- A detail-orientated and methodical approach
- Understanding of technical documents and drawings
- Manual skills and a steady hand
- A good level of fitness and resilience
