North Tees and Hartlepool Breast unit is recognised for providing both high level quality care to our patients and exceptional learning opportunities for all members of the team.

You will assist the Breast Services Manager and Director of Breast Screening, working with the Programme Clinical Administrator in the organisation and effective delivery of both the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services, with an emphasis on clinical leadership.

Work closely with Programme Clinical Administrator to ensure availability of advanced practitioners for symptomatic and assessment clinics

Communicate with senior staff within and outside the Breast Unit

Day to day organisation and running of the clinical advanced practice services

Clinical line management of band 6 radiographers with an advance practice disciplines

Assist in the training of radiographers in advanced practice

Assist in the training of radiographers and assistant practitioners in all aspects of mammography

Contribute to and implement local standard operating procedures and policies

To assist the Breast Services Lead in the organisation and effective delivery of the both the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services.

To assist in the delivery of mammography advanced practice for Breast Services.

Assist in providing professional clinical leadership and developing high standards of service provision

Contributes to service and staff development.

Deliver leadership to the clinical mammography team to provide a high standard of patient care.
