Class Assistants are an essential part of daily life in Kumon Study Centres. The role of the Class Assistant is to support the delivery of the Kumon maths and English programmes.

Class Assistants play an essential role in the study centre, providing support for the students and ensuring the centre runs smoothly.

A Class Assistant will:

- Assist the setting up and clearing down of the classroom in a timely manner to ensure the environment is ready for activity when the first student arrives.
- Supervise students and ensure they work effectively in class.
- Prepare, accurately mark and record student's work.
- Liaise with and maintain positive working relationships with parents/guardians
Work through half-terms and school holidays.

Key skills required:
A keen interest in education and supporting children's' learning.
Strong communication skills.
Good understanding of spoken and written English.
GCSE grade B or above in Maths and English Language.

Hours: Monday 15.45 - 17.45. Tuesday 15.45 - 18.15
Wednesday 15.45- 18.30

Must be available to attend training sessions at other specified times.

Rate of pay:dependent on age and experience.
