My client, a well established Global Ecommerce and Retail organisation are looking to continue to build their already strong Front-End team by hiring a Front End Technical Lead to work on their cutting edge projects across Digital Marketing, Trading, UX,Payments, and Fulfilment.

This will include management of a team of around 7-8 Front End developers where you will provide expert guidance and support to the team.

**This is a hybrid role, however they are happy to consider individuals who are happy to come into the office once a week.**

**The essential skills and experience required for this role include**:

- Experience leading a team of front end focused developers
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js,.Net Core, JQuery & related JavaScript/Typescript Frameworks
- Caching, minification, bundling techniques to improve front end performance
- Experience integrating with a CDN to optimize resource bandwidth
- Able to collaborate with SEO professionals, producing?content that follows best practices
- Using front end monitoring tools

**As part of this role you will be responsible for**:

- Training and mentoring junior colleagues within the team
- Making key decisions on the approach of how the projects are implemented
- Sharing knowledge with the wider teams to improve the standards for all
- Being passionate about doing things the correct way by writing clean, concise, refactored code that is easy to be maintained
