Vehicle Valeter

Our Valeter's play an integral part in the success of our business. Valeting responsibilities mean you will consistently ensure that vehicles are prepared to a high standard, so they are suitable and ready for hire. The applicant will be required to maintain daily checks on vehicles (e.g., bulbs, oil, fuel etc).
- Clean commercial vehicles using a daily or weekly schedule which may vary from time to time.
- Use appropriate materials and techniques for cleaning, which present the vehicles to a high standard.
- Externally wash the vehicles, clean the windows and wheels. Internally clean, dust and vacuum as required.
- Report any damage and defects which you notice.
- Check the coolant and oil level of vehicles.
- Plan and control the parking of vehicles in the yard to minimise accidents and allow good access at all times. The safety of people in the yard is paramount and you should endeavour to control the access of the public and staff accordingly.
- Maintain the yard in a clean and safe condition

In keeping with accepted principles of good working practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties.

Skill requirements
- Comfortable with working in all weather conditions as the role is predominately an outdoor role
- Enjoy working under pressure
- Experience of vehicle washing/valeting
