**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Team in Northwich as a Demand Planner.

**Job Purpose **Responsible for robust sales forecast with NAMs on key customers and overall sales forecast. Key Liaison with customer supply chains to deliver collaborative forecasts and improve service levels. Work with supply planning and logistics to ensure and improve ongoing service levels to targets.

**What you will contribute**
- Work with National Account Managers (NAM) to provide a rolling 15-month volume forecast by SKU for key customers and the overall sales forecast
- Improve NAM forecast accuracy by regularly reviewing the NAM forecast for key customers.
- Work with supply planning and logistics to ensure that customer driven volume variances are captured in the daily supply plan driving OTIF metrics.
- Work with key customer supply chains to manage a) collaborative forecasts and b) resolve service level issues.
- Own the completion by and with NAMs of changes to the forward forecast as part of the Demand Review section of the IBM process.
- Regularly report on forecast accuracy actuals vs targets and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide challenge to NAMs on their base, promotional and NPD assumptions to ensure delivery vs forecast.
- Ensure that NPD forecasts are input accurately and to expectations by NAMs.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.

**What you will bring**
- Degree desirable
- Worked as a NAM, Demand or supply planning roles - experience minimum more than 2 years
- Good level of understanding of demand planning, Supply Chain operations and customer service and IBP experience
- Numerate and comfortable using spreadsheets and computer systems
- Self-motivated - drive continuous improvement without external challenge
- Strong organisation skills & problem solver
- Good communicator - Ability to work across functions, particularly Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance
- High level of attention to detail

**Hours of work**:
We operate a hybrid working policy which requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, with your working hours being flexible between 7am - 6pm, as agreed with your line manager.
