We are recruiting for Warehouse Operative for our client in Bishops Cleeve, to ensure efficient daily production of bakery goods to customer specification.

Your main job will be to fulfil orders to the required specification and standards, whilst being part of the team to ensures that orders are dispatched on time.

**About you**

You will need to be a highly motivated individual with a hands on approach.

You will have proven experience of Food manufacturing with the ability to prioritise their own and others’ workload, effective verbal and written communication skills in a multilingual environment, you will also be a team player.

**Report To** - Warehouse & transport Co-ordinator

**Hours**:Monday to Friday set shift of 2pm to 10pm. Bank holiday working and optional Saturday shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Part of the warehouse and transport team ensuring high standards at all times and safe working environment at all times
- Liaising with production and transport to ensure prompt shipment of product.
- Maintaining GMP/Housekeeping at a high level within warehouse and yard.
- Ensure warehouse and yard conform to health and safety legislation, policy and standards, identifying any required actions so that the area of responsibility is healthy, safe and accident free.
- complies with all food safety policies and procedures, (e.g. HACCP, BRC) in order to meet the requirements of professional and legal standards.
- Maintain company and statutory hygiene standards throughout designated areas, including promoting the principles of basic food hygiene and good housekeeping.

**General Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with company internal processes and procedures including H&S.
- Food Safety & compliance to Quality Manual and Company Policies.
- Office duties as required including answer telephones, office housekeeping and general duties.
