The Hospice Inpatient Clinical Lead (Band 7) role provides Senior Clinical Leadership for the Inpatient Hospice Care Team. This role will lead, and have responsibility for clinical delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care through teaching, training, auditing, reviewing, change management, supporting and coaching.

We are looking for an experienced nurse who has the knowledge, skill and vision to take the lead and responsibility for safe, effective, and high-quality care within the inpatient care team. This is a senior clinical role in which the post holder will ensure we continue to grow and improve, whilst always maintaining ‘safe and effective’ at the centre of all we do. CQC compliance is a key aspect of this role.

This role is full time, to be worked flexibly across a minimum 4 days.

We recognise that working in a Children’s hospice is very different to that of the NHS and sometimes applicants are not sure which role best suits their experience. We hold Claire House values central to our recruitment process. Therefore, we welcome applicants to spend time at Claire House ahead of the interview. This consists of; having a tour of the hospice, spending time with a mix of hospice staff to find out more about the role, and having time to ask questions in a more relaxed environment.
