Online Buyer

We’re looking for x2 individuals to join the online team as an Online Specialist - Commercial at Hilmore House in Bradford, on a full-time permanent basis. This role will involve working your full time hours over 4 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the online team.

This role will manage an online range selection to maximise sales (through basket) and profit. The role is also accountable for managing the merchandising of the website including search,features and banners. This role is specifically responsible for delivering the commercial margin for the categories and basket growth.

**You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;**
- Build a one year category plan which delivers the Online Sales and Profit
- targets and increased Online Market Share
- Build a compelling range by working with Customer Insight and Supply
- base to identify new opportunities
- Deliver customer value through delivering a compelling promotional plan and managing the Online Trade Plan delivering value on key pages on the site
- Forecast category performance to build an annual sales, volume and margin plan to achieve year on year like for like growth aligned with the business plan
- Create justification / business benefit detail in project business cases following an agreed process.
- Continually monitor and understand current category performance, build in-flight plans to drive improvements and evaluate the impact on future plans and performance.
- Deliver an annual plan to deliver increases in basket as per Budgets.
- Understand the Seasonality of products within your range.
- Understand the requirements of the Online customer and offer a range which achieves Sales, Margin and Basket targets (Volume & value)
- Through teamwork and using their expertise, enable all stakeholders to contribute to the growth of Online sales
- Remove complexity and unnecessary effort through sku count optimisation, Range mix and promotional optimisation whilst improving current processes.
- Manage project RAG status, updates and messages through agreed governance meetings i.e. project steering
