Siemens is looking for a Professional Education Consultant on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing and owning the Siemens processes that enable the businesses to access and utilise the apprenticeship levy in the UK.

You will deliver exceptional results by maintaining knowledge regarding the processing and storage of learner data in the Learner Management Systems (LMS). You will collaborate with all Siemens business units that have apprentices, including facilitating face-to-face and virtual meetings.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can engage and present to senior customers and leaders. You will have an understanding of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) systems and rules and working with data and preferably learner management systems.

This role can be based from any of our major sites in Farnborough, Manchester or Newcastle. We offer hybrid working, and you will be required to travel to other sites for customer meetings.

**What will you deliver?**
- Responsible for the Siemens’ Learner Management System, the data it contains and the relationship with our external provider host. This includes any actions to improve and enhance the processes within the systems capability
- Make recommendations and support the effort to optimise levy utilisation across the core Siemens businesses
- Help drive the apprenticeship Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy
- Working closely with Marketing/Talent Acquisition and the Siemens Professional Education Team with activities in relation to National Apprenticeship Week, internal and external Apprenticeship Awards and reporting for audits
- Analysis of funding data and trends, monthly KPI’s and content for Ofsted reporting and the Apprentice Advisory Board
- Work closely with our Financial Commercial Partner to ensure apprenticeship levy is recovered and grant funding is redistributed and communicated to the businesses
- Ensure processes are well documented, updated and published
- Act in a consultancy capacity to support managers with onboarding and offboarding apprentices.

**What will you bring to the role**:

- Understanding of funding systems; ESFA rules, awarding body requirements and learner management systems
- Business and/or data qualification
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and Ofsted Education inspection framework requirements would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiar with using IT systems
- Able to work flexibly which includes face-to-face, as part of a virtual team and travel to customer sites
- Agile and able to adapt to the changing needs of the organisation and our customers
