**Our overnight respite service known as ‘Dragons Retreat’ is looking for enthusiastic, positive and flexible people to join our established team of Support Workers.**

**This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of Kent's largest and most respected charities. We work with young people aged between 9 and 19 with a wide range of disabilities on all aspects of their care and development.**

**The roles offered involve shift work over a 7 day period including some unsociable hours. Successful applicants would be allocated at least 2 days a week off which includes at least one weekend a month.**

**We require all of our staff to have a good understanding of disability. Training on all aspects of the work will be provided alongside regular team meetings and supervisions.**

**We also ask that all staff are educated to at least NVQ Level 3 Working with Children & Young People. If you have not already gained this qualification don’t worry - We Are Beams will support all successful applicants to achieve this.**

**Depending on your levels of work experience and your qualifications, you may have opportunities to progress to Team Leader following a suitable probation period.**

**These posts will be based at Dragons Retreat in Hextable, but will require the ability to work in the community as required.**

**We are looking for a range of staff as we need to cover upcoming maternity leave within the group and to accommodate a planned increase in the number of young people supported at our respite. We can be flexible about the number of hours worked and shift patterns - most importantly please do let us know if you are interested.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £21,080.00-£26,935.00 per year
