**Sales Estimator**

Do you want a new challenge with a fun and passionate team?

Based in Monmouth, South Wales, Vertix Systems has an expert team with extensive steel roofing experience, including 15 years in the metal standing seam market.

The sales team are strengthening their ranks, adding an Estimator to the team. Working with a large range of prospective customers, no two days will be the same: with challenges and diversity at every turn.

**Key duties and responsibilities...**
- Understanding the needs and requirements of clients.
- Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with clients.
- Ensuring dimensions and quantities are accurately entered into the take-off document.
- Ensuring quotes and orders are accurate, costed up correctly and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring quotes are updated to Epicor.
- Responsible for managing multiple client accounts, ensuring notes are accurate and up to date.
- Amending client quotes, as and when required, ensuring the wider team are kept up to date with any changes.
- Produce a bill of materials from 2-dimensional drawings.
- Deliver project handovers to internal key stakeholders.
- Attend initial client meetings to discuss project requirements.
- Support with any ad hoc tasks to meet company needs.
- Specific experience of cladding sales would be an advantage.
- Able to read/Understand Architectural/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of viewing/taking measurements of drawings in AutoCad format would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Able to balance your own workload and support the wider team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

**Hours**: Mon-Thur 8.00am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.00am to 13.30
