Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lead Farm Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for various duties including spraying, spreading, combining, crop storage monitoring, equipment repair and maintenance, and general farm work. This position requires experience alongside attention to detail and mechanical knowledge, PA1 and PA2 certification, the ability to work as part of a team and be able to make responsible decisions. Basic math skills are also necessary for this role. Training can be provided. You must be able to be flexible to work weekends where required, especially in the Spring and Autumn.

**Duties**:

- Operate and maintain equipment used for arable farming
- Repair and maintain equipment as needed
- Assist with general farm maintenance tasks such as ditching, drainage, building repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

- Mechanical knowledge and experience with equipment repair
- PA1 & PA2
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labour
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Previous experience in farm machinery operation a must

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.

**Salary**: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 90 per week
