Interaction is recruiting for an Event Organiser for our client based in Podington, Wellingborough.
Working for the UKs most action-packed venue and home of European Drag Racing, hosting a variety of motor sporting events including 2 rounds of FIA European Drag Racing Championship and some of the biggest car shows on the calendar.
We are looking for an Event Organiser to assist in the logistics of all aspects of event organisation
**Duties**:
× Assist in the logistics of all aspects of event organisation. You will be tasked to manage several activities associated with the complete running of an event.
This would involve
× Booking of event content,
× Managing third party suppliers
× Marketing activities.
- Communicate and liaise with other internal and external departments to ensure tasks and objectives are met on time.
- You will be part of a small but highly productive team as such you will be expected to be "up and running" in a short period of time. Therefore, the ability to take instruction and absorb the requirements of the role quickly are essential.
- Creative writing is an important part of the role. This will include copy writing for the event websites, show guides, press releases, and event newsletters. A good command of the English language, writing skills, vocabulary and spelling is therefore important.
- This role would suit a good all-rounder with some previous experience of working in the leisure and events industry with an understanding of how to be resourceful under pressure and be committed to working several event weekends during the main season March - October.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- To organise, sell and process all exhibition stand bookings including invoicing and management of health and safety documents.
- To recruit new business, build and maintain sales database
- Use initiative to help develop revenue potentials
- To organise and arrange the booking of attractions and sideshows at key events
- To work on every aspect of organising and running an event to include:
Producing promotional materials
Procuring content for magazines and online media pages
Producing event specific materials
Arranging Staff
Organising the layout for each event

**Due to the location, having your own transport is essential for this position as you will not be able to get here using public transport.**
