Recycling Operative

**Job description**

Our client requires x2 recycling operative during the busy months ahead working from their waste management depot based in Knaresborough.
- Monday - Friday
- Weekly rotating shift pattern:

- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Weekly Pay - Overtime is also available
- £11.00ph
- Saturdays/OT £16.50ph
- Sundays and Bank Holidays £22.00ph

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- This role involved working in a Household Waste Treatment Plant - picking domestic recyclable materials from conveyors
- Picking at defined rates recyclable materials from conveyors with additional ad-hoc duties (light cleaning, cleaning blockages etc)
- Housekeeping of the operator cabins and the Plant in general
- Following all site health and safety rules
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Punctuality, reliability and flexibility
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience would be beneficial (not essential)
- Overtime available
- Good opportunity for progression (no experience needed, all training provided)

**Person Specification**:

- Fitness, health, and mobility
- Previous waste management experience preferred but not essential
- A good timekeeper
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Be a team-player
