What you'll be doing
In this role you will support Group Brand and Public Affairs/Relations teams in successfully delivering on the Brand and Public Affairs/Relations missions.

It’s a varied role consisting of a combination of administrative, analytical and communication activities.

Communication: Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly external communications updates to the executive. Delivering half yearly media reports for the US market. Standing in when needed for the Head of Brand & Corporate Affairs Programmes to lead PR and marketing forums. Administering, capturing notes and managing actions for forums. Preparing presentations as directed.

Digital Marketing: Supporting performance of the Group site including SEO and accessibility enhancements. Updating website content under direction (using the CMS) and social media quote cards and graphics. Supporting the delivery of financial results on the website as part of the core team.

Administration: Budget managing including budget tracking, raising purchase orders and invoices and expense management. Supporting the services and tools owned by Group Brand to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. Managing the day-to-day support for news subscription services. Supporting re-negotiation of supplier service contracts.

Communication/Public Affairs - project delivery support including the administration of forums and meetings and other ad hoc project support tasks as allocated (which could include completing risk, IT, security, procurement and other process documentation under direction). Delivering compliance and public affairs projects as directed.

Analysis: Collating, analysing and presenting data driven research and web performance statistics in support of the Group Brand insight manager. Media monitoring and delivering media analysis from the media agency database. Delivering analysis across the Brand function using tools such as Excel and PowerBI.

What we're looking for
Marketing/Brand experience is not required. More important is your comfort in working with numbers and your analytical skills, good writing and presentation abilities, as well as a positive, can-do attitude.

You’ll need strong time management and excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to manage a high volume of workload and to manage competing deadlines and requirements. An excellent stakeholder manager, you are collaborative in approach and excel at working in a team.
