Our Nacro Education Centre in Peterborough is looking to appoint a Sports Tutor to deliver Sports Skills to learners aged 16-19 years.

Great enthusiasm to lead, support, and ensure our learners achieve the appropriate sports qualifications, alongside developing their employability, personal and social skills is a must. **Duties include**:

- Responsible for the planning and delivery of lessons to learners at Level 1 and level 2, ensuring they gain qualification success.
- Lead, inspire and support learners with different abilities and learning styles
- Mark work, giving appropriate feedback and maintain records of learners’ progress and development
- Identify and plan additional support for learners as necessary
- Act as Nacro representatives at parents’ evenings, taster days and open days
- Ensure that safeguarding, prevent and equality and diversity policies are always followed, and concerns are reported accordingly.

**Essential Criteria**
- Qualifications - L2 English & Maths and minimum Level 3 Sports Qualification
- The personality to engage and mentor disadvantaged teenagers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,705.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Peterborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
