Trainee Accountant

**Job Purpose**

To provide support to the Finance function across a wide range of activities and to allow the trainee to experience an environment of real-life finance practices to complement their qualification. The role will involve rotations across the different areas and teams of finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- The precise nature of your responsibilities will be determined by the demands of the business. The role will encompass, amongst others, assisting with:

- Assisting with routine Financial Controls and month-end close activities
- Assisting in preparation of materials to support statutory reporting.
- Providing financial analysis support as required
- Supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
- Preparing management accounting reporting for decision making
- Partnering with the business to maintain and improve financial performance.
- Ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested.

Qualifications:

- Numerical based degree, such as: Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics and Engineering
- Exposure to fundamentals of accounting
- Excellent Microsoft excel skills and general Digital abilities.
- Motivation to undertake an Accounting Qualification (such as CIMA, ACCA) and develop a career in Finance.
