Able Bridge Recruitment are delighted to be working with a prestigious and highly regarded organisation who have an unrivalled national reputation for excellence. Due to growth, we have been approached to support the business in the recruitment of a credit controller on a permanent basis.
Working in a small and intimate team and reporting into the credit manager, you will be an integral part of the credit control family. The role will be based in the Edinburgh office which is located within central Edinburgh, however whilst the expectation is to be office based once a week, this may increase to 3 days in the near future.
**The Responsibilities**
The purpose of this role is to be part of the credit control team and to work in collaboration with your colleagues to ensure that invoices are settled within agreed timescales. Your role will be to liaise closely with our clients client providing an excellent level of service and to reduce any potential queries quickly and efficiently. The division of tasks is based on team capacity rather than ledger ownership and you can expect to be building relationships with multiple clients.
**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;**
Working closely with various stakeholders internally, such as finance and operations, to ensure queries are kept to a minimum and resolved promptly.
Reconciliation of receivables ledger to ensure that payments have been applied to appropriate invoices to reflect accurate debtor days.
Production of various reports for month end close.
Request and distribute copy invoices for clients were required.
Liaise with the credit manager and the finance team in regards to writing off bad debts.

Our client will be expecting the successful applicant to be based in the office on a blended working model, the model that we are working with is 20% in the office and 80% working at home, however this may change and you may be expected to work more often in the office. If, however, applicants wish to work longer in the office the option is available to them.
