**Applications Engineer**

**£48,000 - £52,000 Basic** + Car Allowance (£6,000 per annum) + Flexi Working Hours + Pension + Healthcare + Package + Hybrid Role

**Job responsibilities**:

- Customer support and visits.
- Detailed technical sales support.
- Product support for sales team at customer (and other stakeholders) engagements during product sales cycle including presentations, demonstrations, training and technical response document preparation.
- Investigation and documentation of customer and market needs.
- Identify new solutions for customers & define requirements.
- Customer assistance at customer location to help resolve customer issues and meet customer needs or challenges.
- Analysis of competitive products and feedback to Product Line Management
- Preparation of documents (white papers, operators' manuals, presentations, specifications, training materials).
- Providing communication of activities and market needs
- Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies

**Background Required**:

- Industry experience desirable
- Experience working within Projects / Applications
- Engineering qualification HNC/HND
- Happy to travel across the UK consistently (occasionally European travel)
- Good general purpose IT skill required. Including: Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel & PowerPoint, Visio & Project an advantage), Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, WeTransfer,
- Strong communications skills - Regular presentations will be required, product demonstrations, verbal and written communications, listening.
- Ability to work both independently (remote) & in collaboration with team simultaneously.
