**Location**:Islington, London
**Salary**:£30,000 to £40,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience
**Contract**:Full time, Permanent
**Hours**:Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (incl. 30-min lunch break)

Autism Partnership - established in 1994 in Los Angeles, California - is one of the world's most reputable Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) service providers for Autism Spectrum Condition/Disorder (ASC/ASD), with over 200 psychologists, consultants and practitionersworldwide.

We have been operating in the UK as a not-for-profit organisation since 2000, with our UK centres located in both Leeds & London. We are currently in the process of registering our London centre with Ofsted as an Early Years Provider.

**Early Years Manager - The role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and enthusiastic team committed to delivering high quality intervention and care to its young children and their families.

**As our Early Years Manager you will be responsible for**:

- Day-to-day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the centre
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality levels of care and education for all children
- Contributing to, updating and implementing centre policies
- Working collaboratively with the Clinical Directors of Autism Partnership UK
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff
- Maintaining compliance-based operational requirements - i.e., Health & Safety etc.
- Promoting a high standard of quality within the centre
- Providing leadership and support to all staff
- Ensuring the centre remains compliant in respect of suitably trained and relevantly qualified staff
- Ensuring all staff and children are kept safe and that staff are confident to follow safe-guarding procedures
- Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with relevant outside agencies
- Proactively promoting the centre to current and potential parents including in the wider community
- Preparing for inspections by Ofsted and implement any recommendations
- Administrative duties associated with the centre including ordering equipment and keeping personnel files
- Collaborating as required with the Leeds Early Years Manager
- Managing centre running costs and to contribute to the financial forecasting of the company
- Financial and business management - i.e., processing payroll and invoicing
- Strategic planning and marketing of the company and maintaining a presence on social media
- Addressing enquiries about enrolment, payments and practices
- Managing staff and client schedules
- Managing staff, client and HR records and liaise with HR to ensure compliance
- Managing new intakes
- Recruitment and providing ongoing training in best early years and childcare practices

**To be successful within this role you should have**:
**Essential**:

- An Ofqual-approved Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years and Childcare.
- Paediatric First Aid
- Minimum of 5 years recent experience, working in an early years/childcare setting
- Have a thorough understanding of the EYFS welfare, learning and development requirements and current Ofsted statutory guidance
- Have a thorough understanding of child safety practices - including paediatric first aid and safeguarding children
- Have good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proficient in computer literacy and have good experience of administrative software packages
- Have a valid DBS certificate and can pass all safer recruitment safeguarding checks

**Desirable**:

- A degree or foundation degree in child development, early years education, primary education, childhood studies, child psychology or the equivalent.
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Recent experience, working in an Early Years management or other senior role
- Understanding of ABA, autism and SEN

All applicants will need a clear enhanced DBS certificate, 2 professional reference checks and pass all other safe-guarding and child protection checks in line with our safeguarding policy.
