Stone Worktop Fabricator Quartz, Granite, Marble

We are looking for someone with the skills and passion of Stone Worktop Fabrication to work in our New company Discovery Stone Surfaces. We are a young dynamic group looking to grow the business and make the work environment a good place for all to work with the correct work life balance.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**Saw / CNC**:preferable experience on the Donatoni Jet 625 and CNC machines following laser template to process the stone as per drawing

**Stone Preparation**: Inspect stone surfaces to identify imperfections, such as scratches, chips, or unevenness, and prepare them for polishing.

**Polishing Techniques**: Utilise new and modern hand polishing tools and abrasives to polish, smooth, refine, and finetune stone surfaces and edges to a high quality finish, paying close attention to detail.

**Maintenance**: Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

**Quality Control**: Inspect completed work for quality and precision, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.

**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, and installation team to ensure successful project completion.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Stone Worktop Fabrication
- Proven experience as a Stonemason or Stone hand polisher.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools specific in worktop fabrication.
- Ability to interpret drawings and understand levels of polish and finish expected.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle stone surfaces
- Effective communication and good teamwork skills

**Salary**: From £32,000.00 per year
