Stable Hand/groom

We are a retirement livery set in over 200 acres of farmland, offering barn and stable options for horses and ponies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for horses to work part-time on a self-employed basis at a well established retirement livery yard.

The job role will involve various responsibilities such as grooming the horses, feeding, mucking out, administering medications and maintaining a clean working environment.

We are looking for someone to work the following hours:
**Saturdays and Sundays - 8.30am-12.30pm**

As a self-employed person, you can be paid weekly or monthly on receipt of invoice - whichever you prefer.

You will have a dedication and passion for horses, along with experience in looking after them - whether this be in a professional and personal sense. You should be confident in handling horses of all sizes and in your ability to work safely and efficiently with these animals.

We currently have over 50 retired horses at our yard.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- dealing with horses: 1 year (preferred)

**Location**:
