As a Responsible Carer for Christadelphian Care Homes you will work alongside a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care in a dignified and individualised way, placing the residents' need at the centre of all your actions. You’ll work with the Senior Care Assistants and Management Team to set the standard of care throughout the Home, being an example to all your colleagues. Where required you'll organise the Care staff to ensure the smooth running of the shift.

Additionally, you’ll have responsibility for:

- Supporting with the induction and training of new and junior care staff
- To provide support and reassurance for all care staff, answering queries and problem solving where appropriate
- Undertake audits where required
- Confidently handle and accurately dispense medication
- Maintaining and updating Care Plans
- Deliver exceptional and appropriate care

To be successful in this role you’ll have previous experience of working as a Care Assistant and the desire to progress within the care sector. You’ll be confident in understanding the needs of older people and have full awareness of health and safety, privacy and dignity relating to carrying out personal care. You’ll be a great team player, communicator, exhibiting professionalism and respect at all times. You’ll take ownership of tasks assigned to you and be a role model to your colleagues.
