Simpson Judge are working with a luxury designer fashion company based out of their new office in Canvey Island looking to bring onboard an Assistant Accountant. The company is a market leader with a strong customer base.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in all aspects of the bookkeeping.
Business and data analysis and preparation of business KPI's.
Concession commission weekly data submission.
Reviewing and approving payment runs on a weekly basis.
Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Prepare monthly payroll submission.
Month-end journals posting.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts.
Assist in the year end audit work.
Process all customer and VAT refunds and ensure all systems are updated accordingly.
Working closely with the Management Accountant on ad hoc work and requests.
Skills needed:
AAT Qualified.
Ability to communicate and build relationships both internally and externally at all levels
Good attention to detail
Experience in using Navision preferable
Strong excel skills
Willingness to take on additional tasks as and when required which may fall outside of their normal job description
Ability to think outside of the box
Can do and proactive attitude
