Horse Riding Instructor

We have had a growth in the number of lessons and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced person to assist the team.

The role will entail working in a close team of yard staff to deliver high quality riding lessons. We are looking for someone who is available on a freelance basis.

About the role:

- Deliver high quality engagiong lessons withe a focus on harmony with the horse, mindfulness and wellbeing of horse and rider.
- Have a focus on the customer journey and improving the client experience
- Bringing on inexperienced horses
- Assisting with training the apprentices and overseeing helpers and volunteers.
- Work at different locations to deliver a high-level experience.
- Working as part of a close team.

**Requirements**:

- Experience Coaching and Instructing a range of clients and horses.
- Experience working in a busy yard as part of a team.
- Safety conscious
- A good understanding of horse behaviour and herd behaviour
- Experience with handling nervous horses and developing their skills and confidence.
- Ability to identify personal development areas.

Preferable:

- Full UK Driving Licence
- UKCC Coaching certificate
