**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain various heavy equipment such as excavator, dumper, tractor and lowloader
- Perform tasks related to clearing fencing sites for our teams
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret site drawing and maps
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of work in various weather conditions.

Must be able to work on various challenging terrain

Hold a valid NPORS Card

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Elgin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Excavator: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- CSCS (required)
