Dietetic Assistant

The post holder will contribute to the provision of nutritional health and social care to adults requiring clinical Dietetic intervention in the Central Area of Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board. The individual will participate in the achievement of the Health Board’s mission and quality objectives by providing high quality, efficient, safe and effective Dietetic services.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Dietetic Assistant to facilitate the delivery of Dietetic care in the Central area of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The post holder will work with the dietitians to support patients living in the community, in care homes and in hospitals.

The Dietetic Assistant will support the Team’s Dietitians in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
