Job Context:

- Liaise with overseas vendors, freight forwarders to achieve operational objectives.
- Manage 3PL partners to achieve required service levels and cost parameters.
- Support day to day activities of Customer Service desk and address any issues escalated by the shipping team.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports for distribution throughout the business and group.

Essential Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of policies and procedures relating to company operations.
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills.
- Extensive experience in logistics, stock control and vendor management.
- An experienced project manager.
- Familiar with ERP operating systems and as a super user. Skilled in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project manage new product deliveries, work with the suppliers and partners to ensure raw material availability and on time deliveries to the customer.
- Work with the compliance team to ensure all requirements are achieved.
- Work with the suppliers on a daily basis to ensure product delivery schedules and order fulfilment are achieved.
- Identify and implement supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain a formal contract review process with suppliers and UK 3PL distribution center.
- Execute and maintain a stock reorder and stock management process for selected retailers to reduce lead time and increase factory efficiencies.
- Implement periodic stock audits and reconcile stock to the required standards.
- Support the management team to achieve operational targets from the overseas suppliers and help address key quality issues.
