W HY T HIS R OLE IS V ALUABLE

To work within the team of Machine and Hygiene Operatives, undertaking activities including dismantling, cleaning and sterilising of production plant and equipment and surrounding areas to achieve standards of excellence in line with food hygiene requirements to support delivery of audits and accreditations. The plant must then be rebuilt ready for the following production shift.

**K EY A REAS OF R ESPONSIBILITY**:
To set up machines, control change of settings and changeovers. Rebuilding of the machines ready for the following production shift. Adhere to production schedule/plan as directed by shift manager and following the internal ERP system (M3). Responsible for setting up product print according to the manufacturing specification. Drive hygiene standard across the site, including carrying out hygiene tasks, understanding cleaning standards and the types of chemicals used. To work in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, minimizing danger to themselves or other colleagues. Including, always wearing appropriate safety protection. To notify the Company on any short comings or failings within its H & S procedures. To report all accidents in the workplace. To work in accordance with written work instructions in order achieve daily production plans. Carry out all production-related tasks in a manner that produces consistently high-quality finished goods. Report any issues that compromise or could compromise food safety. To recommend improvements concerning any of the above to the Shift Production Manager and if accepted implement them accordingly. Ensure that all operational documentation is completed accurately and promptly on internal OEE system - Redzone. Perform to meet departmental goals and quality targets. Provide quality products and services that meet customer requirements. Maintain processes within pre-determined limits and monitor non-conformance. Help identify and eliminate problems. Assist in simplification and/or improvements of procedures, techniques or processes. Adhere to all relevant documentation systems used in the production procedure. Undertake relevant training as required. Undertake additional task as directed by their Managers
