Due to continued expansion of the business, we are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Consultant/Trainer to join our existing team of highly qualified Safety professionals on a part time basis. The training will primarily be Confined Space, First Aid and Fire Awareness, however other safety related courses will be required such as manual handling.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Pay/Salary**

Operating from the office within Dumfries. Travelling to client premises is required therefore, location may vary day to day. Use of a company vehicle will be provided.

**Description of the Role**

Consultancy will included looking after our existing clients ensuring that their Health and Safety management systems are kept up to date with on site visits to clients premises

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Manage the delivery of health and safety training to several clients across the UK therefore, a full clean driving license is essential
- Manage training quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
- Taking ownership of the set up and preparation of your training courses
- Ensuring paperwork is completed to a high standard
- Positively contributing to the development and improvement of existing courses to ensure our training is of the highest standard for our clients
- Ensure vehicle used is kept clean to ensure a good image at all times
- Manage clients Health and Safety Management systems and provide them with accurate advice.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Qualifications**

Nebosh National General Certificate (advantageous but not essential)

**Essential**:

- Full, clean UK driving license

**Desirable**:

- Teaching qualification

**Knowledge & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Knowledge of basic health and safety principles

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a health, safety, or a fire service/military background
- Experience in any training or induction-based position
