Neighbourhood Officer

BDS are currently recruiting for a Neighborhood Officer to work in the North East for a well established housing association.
Working in collaboration with team members and legal advisors, you will prepare and support officers with producing documentation, reports, issue and serve notices of intention to seek possession, injunctions, or other legal notices for anti-social behaviour within tight deadlines. You will be expected to attend court on behalf of the organisation as required.
Other duties include but are not limited too;
- Investigate cases of nuisance and anti-social behaviour reported by tenants, residents or third parties using all tools available such as the installation and monitoring of surveillance equipment and any other security measures.
- Instigate legal action as necessary including evidence gathering, preparation and presentation of cases at court and attend evictions.
- Proactively work towards tackling anti-social behavior, crime and the fear of crime
You will need to be a driver with access to a vehicle for this position.
This is a full time role Monday
- Friday
- Working hours between 8am
- 6pm.
Salary
- up too £35,600 per annum
This is a perm position to start ASAP
