Finance Manager

Its with great pleasure to work with an inspiring organisation to help them find their new finance manager. This role is office-based bar one day at home and would need applicants to drive given its location & parts of the job role. Their ideal is someone who has worked in a similar sector and having ample accounts experience focusing on bookkeeping and double entry and feeling confident doing Pivot tables etc on Excel
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Finance Director to:
*Assist in the financial management of the organisation:
- Processing income onto the accounts system and CRM
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Reconciliation of CRM to accounts system
- Draft financial reports for fundraising budget holders
- Assist with budget preparation and review
- Prepare year end audit schedules for fundraising
- Ensure organisational compliance with HMRC, Charity Commission and Financial regulations
*Line manage Income Processing Co-ordinator and Data Processor, ensuring they are motivated and supported to achieve their objectives.
*Provide cover for Finance Manager - Programmes on critical functions
- Payroll
- Payments runs
- Purchase order and credit card provision
- Review office contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Manage IT infrastructure, liaising with the outsourced IT support to ensure effective IT provision and providing support to staff in UK and Affiliates on IT systems.
- Co-ordinate office opening and closing
*Uphold and work to in-house policies and procedures.
*Conduct yourself in accordance with the rules of the Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct in your personal and professional life - which includes reporting suspicions of child abuse or any other breach of these policies.
*Actively promote and embody the organisations core values across the organisation and partners.
*Travel to field operations as and when required.
*Undertake any other duties, as appropriate to the post, as delegated by the line manager.
