Are you passionate about food, do you love working with people, do you enjoy building relationships and working in partnership? Do you want to be at the forefront of establishing and running pop up community pantries in the Borders? Then this new exciting role could be for you.
This role, initially funded for 1 year, will be part of Cyrenians Good Food Team and will work alongside our new Community Food worker in the Scottish Borders to develop new food related opportunities in the community. The Community Pantry Co-ordinator will develop and deliver Pantries in a range of community settings, working with a variety of partner organisations.
We are looking for someone with experience of community engagement with the ability to build good working relationships. You will be self motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills, with knowledge of the issues around food poverty.
