An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance team on a full-time permanent basis (37.5 hours per week, on a rotating shift pattern of 08:00-16:00 and 16:00 to 00:00), based in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

As our Maintenance Engineer you truly are the backbone of our business as you will ensure business equipment and building infrastructure remains available and operational for our people.

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer, with the ability to diagnose, problem-solve and rectify solutions.

Working predominantly on our Hinckley site, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance duties, routine maintenance and reactive breakdown maintenance on schedule and to completion.

Here are a few key responsibilities you will be accomplishing on a regular basis:

- Ensuring relevant reports are completed and contain the required level and standard of data, timesheets, handover documentation and information.
- Identifying spares required on-site in need of breakdown to reduce downtime.
- Taking a proactive approach in driving continuous improvement ideas and projects
- Taking responsibility for individual and others health and safety, ensuring health and safety policies are adhered and near miss and hazards are reported when witnessed.

As our Maintenance Engineer you will be a key member of a collaborative team environment, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will be a highly motivated individual with a creative mind to support in the development of continuous improvementideas and ways of working, with the opportunity to get actively involved in critical maintenance projects.

**Am I suitable?**

A right first-time attitude is key, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings to include; PLC, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical.You will also need working knowledge and experience of CNC/PLC/PC controlled machine tool or process control/productionequipment.

Experience working S7 Siemens and a maintenance trades qualification is desirable, but not mandatory. We believe system knowledge can be acquired, and our training and induction programme will support you with this. All that we ask is that you are keen andeager individual, with the ability to work towards deadlines and multi-task in a fast-moving business environment.
