**Trainee Estimator**

**Location: Manchester**

**Salary: £25,000**

**Hours: Mon-Fri 40 Hours**

Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a European market leader who specialise in Fire Protection Systems. Our client is proud to be at the forefront of innovation within their industry and are looking to recruit a like-minded individualfocused on career development.

Due to continued growth, this company are looking to strengthen and as such are now looking to add a Trainee Estimator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company who invest in their people.

**The Role**:

- Process all new enquiries, ensuring all information is clear and has been reviewed before moving forward to create an estimate
- Make recommendations to external customers by exploring product/stock options to ensure you estimate in the most cost effective and productive manner.
- Liaising with suppliers directly, continuously improving your industry knowledge.
- Establish key working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- Ensure that information is relayed quickly and efficiently with other departments within the business.
- Become a competent user of the companies quoting software,
- Understanding how to run reports and analyse data.

**You will need**:

- Mechanically minded with a view to mastering quoting technology
- Professional attitude, promoting the company with professionalism at all times
- Excellent communicator - written and verbal
- Well organised, paying close attention to detail, ability to priorities, remaining calm under pressure
- Able to work independently seeking guidance where appropriate
- Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates 'can do' attitude
- Computer Literate - MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint or equivalent (Office 365 knowledge preferable)
