Working as part of Middlesbrough council, or team helps those experiences issues with substance use, domestic abuse and homelessness. We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, motivated individual to join our growing team as Clinical Lead.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Overseeing and coordinating clinical resources on a daily basis to meet service user needs._
- Delivering and maintaining high standards of clinical care, ensuring Care Quality Commission Essential Standards and achieved as well as identifying and acting on any circumstances or practices which may compromise standards, quality of care and/or service-users safety._
- Demonstrating and promoting safe practice in medication management, including storage, administration and stock control_
- Advocating for and maintaining a culture of care which is person-centered
- ensuring all service users are diagnosed and managed on an individual needs basis, integrating both drug and non-drugs based treatment methods into a management plan in conjunction with the recovery coordinator._
- Communicating and collaborating with team members, patients, external agencies and other council departments where appropriate._
- Identifying areas of service improvement and development and overseeing the implementation of changes where appropriate._
- Adopting and overseeing accurate, robust and high standard of record keeping._
- Ensuring that robust risk management systems are implemented and functioning._
- Ensuring the Implementation of all Middlesbrough council policies_
