Sigma is a family-owned and family-run business, which has been serving Independent Pharmacies, Dispensing Doctors, and Hospitals for over 40 years. Being one of the largest independent pharmacy wholesalers in the UK meeting the independent needs of customers is at our heart.
We are currently seeking a Goods Inwards Clerk to support with the day to day running of the department. Maintaining the booking in schedule, organising invoice and delivery note paperwork and overall warehouse administration.
- Update and maintain supply chain administration systems that improve accuracy of planning and reporting
- Contacting suppliers where necessary to clarify requirements, to ensure that accurate data has been included for planning and forecasting
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure deliveries are on track for scheduled delivery dates and quantities
- Prepare, maintain and publish up-to-date logistics schedules to inform all relevant parties
- Validate received invoices to aid budget management
- Collect and collate relevant data and format concisely and appropriately to make it presentable to the customer and suppliers
- Collate, complete and file delivery paperwork and invoices to create an accurate audit trail
- Carry out general administration duties, some of which will include Transport administration, Warehouse administration and stock duties
