To be successful within this role you will be a self-starter, with a collaborative approach to your work. Analytically minded, with an eye for detail.

**The role**:

- Leading the team in understanding their clients' needs
- Preparation of tenders for projects, including programmes
- Managing any quality submissions
- Completing tender reviews for all estimates
- Preparation and submission of quotes for work
- Supporting the buying activities and bids to win new contracts
- Gathering quotes from the subcontractors and suppliers
- Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs
- Reviewing and providing proposals for improved purchasing
- Preparing budgets and labour profiles, prior to tender handovers
- Developing and coaching the junior estimators
- Supporting management to develop and grow the team

**Requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience in Estimating
- Full knowledge of NEC3, NEC4 contracts
- Skilled communicator
- MS Office
- Continuous management in key tenders
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Expose to the tender process and managing tender documentation
