As Information Security Officer at Lowell you will be a member of Group Cyber Security and report to Head of Cyber Security in the UK. You will belong to a team present in all three regions within Lowell UK, Dach and the Nordics.

We support remote work, but it is important that you are based in our operating countries in the Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway). You also need to have willingness to do some travel between our sites when, projects so require.

**Your role**:
As a key member of the Information / Cyber Security team, the Information Security Officer (ISO) will be engaged within the business to provide consultative and specialist services including protection of the company’s information assets.

You will have a good understanding of the key assets, processes, and the current emerging threat landscape, ensuring risks are identified and managed with appropriate best practice controls which are monitored and measured.

In addition to the consultancy based approach across the business, the role requires engagement with the IT Technical teams to ensure the external and internal threat landscape is being adequately addressed across domains related to Architecture, Change management, Development, Operational Controls and Cloud Environments.

Your responsibility will also include:

- Maintaining the companies Information Security Management System (ISMS) as part of ISO 27001 and keeping up to date with relevant regulations and compliance
- Monitor the risk controls and develop a set of security Metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Assist with the running of twice-yearly Cyber Incident Management Simulations
- Support due diligence activities of our suppliers, consumers and regulatory compliance reviews
- Conduct Security Impact Assessments, Indicative assessments and control reviews to new initiatives

**Who are you?**

You have several years of comprehensive professional experience working with Information Security services and processes, with the proven ability to navigate in complex organizational structures and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role we believe it is essential to have one or more of the following qualifications or equivalent: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CSX, ISO 27001 Implementor, CEH.

Other qualifications are:

- Enterprise-wide knowledge of Information Security, Information Governance, Information Security Risk Management and Data Protection within the finance business sector
- The ability to develop and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (managers, clients, regulators, suppliers and managed service providers)
- Experience with IT Vendor Risk Management conducting third party due diligence and supplier reviews
- Excellent understanding of technical security controls, processes, cloud services and secure software development and testing.

As a person you are self-driven and want to be challenged. You will also need to love what you do, so that learning and following the trends and news in your field is part of your day-to-day life. Since our company language is English you are fluent in English orally and in writing. You have a university degree (Bachelors or Masters) in relevant field.
